BRIAN SAYRE

Design and the arts have always been my passion. Whether it's writing music and performing, or creating logos and products for businesses large and small, it's a part of the everyday structure in my life. I really started to take interest in design and the arts in high school and decided to study art and media at the College of Lake County. After graduating with a Fine Arts degree, I decided to go to Illinois State University to further pursue my education in media and more specifically in radio. I was hired at 103.3FM WZND as an On-Air Personality and was eventually promoted to Multimedia Director and stayed at that position until graduation. Shortly after college I worked for an entertainment company called Blu Entertainment which was a record label and promoter that put on large music festivals. I worked as Head of VIP Relations helping clients and VIPs as well as a marketing associate, promoting the festivals and company as a whole. After a few years at Blu Entertainment, I decided to move back home to Chicago and start working for 97.1FM The Drive, a classic rock radio station. While working as a Promotions Coordinator for 97.1FM The Drive, I started a radio show on AM 1050 WLIP called Guaranteed Raw with a friend and colleague of mine. I currently work as a Digital Designer for Gannett and Design IQ creating digital advertising and marketing as well as doing voice overs for radio and television. In my free time you will find me producing music, competing in Disc Golf tournaments, and spending lots of time in the outdoors.
